Finance Manager Show Business Interiors and Broster Buchanan are exclusively working in partnership on a retained basis to recruit for a Finance Manager opportunity based at Apollo Park, Crewe, Cheshire. Show Business Interiors are industry leaders in providing show home interiordesign and installation to the UKs corporate property development sector. They aim to exceed the industry standard in design creativity and service levels to their clients.Key Deliverables: * Reporting directly to the Executive Chairman, you will be responsible for mentoring, developing and coaching a small finance team* You will contribute to the development of the companys financial strategy and the organisations strategic goal* Development and delivery of improved systems, processes and ultimately efficiencies are key components to this role* This role will be responsible for management information and accounting across the business and therefore a very "hands on approach" in finance is required* Production of management and financial accounts* Identify profit generation opportunities* Maintain company business plan and monitor KPIs* Manage the preparation of financial budgets, forecasts and reforecasts* Ensure management accounts are accurate and timely with variance analysis to the budget together with good quality management information* Financial Reporting and presentation at Board Meetings* Manage cash flow, including regular reporting and rolling forecasts* Manage and control of all company contracts, renegotiate, renewal etc* Company and financial secretarial functions* Management of key risks for trading business; credit, inventory* Liaise with auditors for year-end audit* Establish and monitor performance and development goals, assign accountabilities, set objectives, establish priorities, and conduct annual performance appraisals* Primary contact for the Companys Bankers, Accountants, Lawyers and Advisors* Managing overall financial budgeting for your function* Presenting any business unit investment decisions to the Executive for considerationThe Successful Candidate: * Will have a formal UK Accountancy qualification, (either CIMA or ACCA or be working towards) or working towards completion * A good working knowledge of all aspects of accountancy practise including VAT* Excellent Excel skills* Experience of line management* Ideally, you will have experience within an SME environment/organisation, however this is not essential* The ability to use and develop systems and processes to an advanced level* Proven ability to present at senior management and/or Board level* Highly motivated with a friendly and collaborative approach* Will take ownership and accountability for driving the Finance Agenda* Can adapt to change, work flexibly and be resilient.* Needs to be solution orientated, exceptionally well organised with a great attention to detail* Commercially focused* Will have the desire to progress and develop within Show Business InteriorsShow Business is an equal opportunities employer
