Job Description

Vital People are looking for Farm Workers to join their clients team in Middlewich.Salary: £8.91Hours of Work: Mon - Fri 6.30am - 3.30pmKey Responsibilities:

  • feeding and looking after livestock
  • treating animals and crops with care
  • Physically handling the turkeys with a duty of care
  • maintaining farm buildings
  • trimming hedges, clearing drainage ditches and mending fences and walls
  • heavy lifting items across sites
  • spraying pesticides across site
  • Adhering to stringent guidelines at all times
    • Essential Skills:
  • Due to the environment all staff are required to shower on site before shift and after.
  • Must be flexible to working hours and ideally open to overtime on weekends.
  • Must be able to carry out physically demanding duties
  • Patience and the ability to remain calm in stressful situations
  • The ability to accept criticism and work well under pressure
  • To be flexible and open to change
  • The ability to work well with your hands
  • Excellent verbal communication skills
