Job Description

Im looking for an Electronics Engineer to work within a small but expanding team based in Crewe (hardware and software) to design and develop hardware and software for magnetic reading technologies.Role includes

  • Test and analyse performance of existing designs
  • Development and testing of pre production units
  • Research and development activity (including testing with non electronic technologies)
  • Design and develop test tools/fixtures/hardware/software for quality and manufacturing support
Qualifications
  • Degree qualified, 2.1 minimum electronics engineering or applied physics
  • 3+ years experience in a similar role
Skills
  • Hardware and software (embedded and PC)
  • Analogue electronics including low power and low noise applications up to 100khz
  • Signal processing
  • Embedded hardware, Arm, STM32, DSP
  • Good mechanical skills, hands on, dextrous. Able to use hand tools and hammer with precision
  • Languages C/C++, VC, STM32, FPGA, (VHDL/Vertlog) Spice/Pspice
Candidates will be self motivated, inquisitive and have good communication skills, both oral and written.This will be a hybrid role, but there may be a necessity for national and international travel
