An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Design Engineer to join a fantastic team in Crewe who offer bespoke electrical engineering solutions Nationwide to the rail industry. Do you have an Electrical Engineering Degree with extensive experience in Railway or HV Substation design If so, get in touch!Duties of the role may include:* Preparation of technical specifications * Creating scheme designs * The technical review and verification of third-party design submissions. * Liaising with colleagues, clients and suppliers* Be pro-active in identifying and reviewing best practise and value engineering topics. * Receive, and resolve site technical queries * Assist line manager in the ongoing review of the Design Team process and procedures * Issuing and circulation of design documentation to project team, supplies, sub-contractors, and site.* Assist the Design Risk review process. * Receive, and resolve site technical queriesWorking hours are Monday - Thursday 08:00 - 16:00. Friday 08:00 - 14:00.33 holidays per year including bank holidays. Work Place Pension with a 4% contribution from the employer. Options to work in the office or remotely.
