Cover Supervisor - Crewe & Nantwich - April 2021 - £65 to £70 per day - Paid weekly via PAYE** Academics is a Teacher Supply / Teacher Recruitment Agency based in Stoke-on-Trent**Do you have experience supporting in schools or working with young peopleAre you resilient, flexible and passionate about helping young peopleAcademics Ltd are a teacher recruitment agency based in Stoke-on-Trent and I have a number of schools across Crewe and the surrounding area that regularly require a Cover Supervisor.Whats involved

  • The main purpose of the role is to supervise whole classes during short term absences of teachers.
  • You will need to ensure that students work in a calm and secure environment and will be required to manage the behaviour of students while undertaking work.
  • You will act as a role model, maintaining high standards of student work, conduct and behaviour and use a range of strategies to deal with classroom behaviour as a whole and also individual behaviour.
  • You will need to respond to questions about process and procedure and encourage students to improve the quality of their work and keep on task.
