Job Description

Contract I.T Engineering TrainerUp to £550 per week - Part TimeWe are an established IT training and recruitment company based in Crewe, Cheshire and we are looking for an additional trainer to join our expanding team. Cerco has been delivering industry leading training in various formats for over 30 years and as demandfor IT engineering professionals continues to grow, we are in need of an individual with a strong training background to deliver our one week training course and get our learners ready for joining the workforce.We are looking for an individual with a strong working knowledge of I.T and preferably a background in education. You will be required to deliver the course at least one week per month, with scope for additional weeks as desired.Full training and briefing on course content will be providedAbout the Training:

  • Certified and moderated by ITOL, our Fastrack training course in IT field engineering is a one-week course, Monday - Friday, delivered at out training facility in Crewe, Cheshire
  • Candidates who successfully complete our training will be onboarded as one of our engineers and placed into suitable roles by our dedicated recruitment team.
  • The course is a hands on, instructor led, one week practical course that runs year round, providing training in Hardware, Windows operating systems & Networking.
  • Each student has their own desktop PC and we limit the number on each course to a maximum of 9 students (at our Crewe Training Centre) to enable the trainer to give each student as much help as they need. Not only will candidates learn a range of hard ITskills, but also what it is like being a field service engineer, and how to effectively communicate with customers.
  • Modules on a broad range of I.T topics including; PC Hardware Connections, Data Storage, Connections and Memory, ROM BIOS & CMOS set-up, Windows Networking, Logical Fault Finding and so much more.
About you:
  • A demonstratable knowledge of IT systems and user support
  • A background in the delivery of education at any level would be highly beneficial
  • Must be confident, patient and encouraging to help inspire our learners to achieve their goals
  • Must be able to reliably commute to Crewe for the hours of 08:00am-17:30pm, Monday-Friday on your allotted week.
  • Ideal for anyone who is looking to limit their workload to 1/2 weeks per month
