Permanent opportunities available with immediate starts and full training provided.LGV2, HGV2, C, LGV 2, HGV 2, CLASS 2 DRIVERS WELCOME Your Time at WorkAs a Class 2 HGV Driver you will report in to our Night Shift Manager, who will assign you the route and vehicle you will work with across that shift. The loads you will be transporting are not individually heavy but you will be transporting up to 20,000 itemsat a time between depots, so we need drivers who understand the importance of standards and keeping our customers happy.Great communication skills are necessary as one of our Drivers as we understand that delays can happen on our roads through circumstances beyond your control, road accidents, over-running repairs. If you as one of our Drivers communicate those delays to uswe can plan around them and make sure that you get the support you need through optimised route planning, sat navs and other tools. In return for your commitment we can offer guaranteed shifts and start times that suit you. Regular weekend work available. Part time HGV drivers are also welcome to apply. Our Perfect WorkerAs a Class 1 HGV Driver, you will ideally have: - 6 months HGV driving experience - No more than 6 points - Digi card and DQC All inductions and training are fully paid. Key Information and BenefitsPAYE Rates of pay for the role are as follows: - Monday to Friday Nights - £12.64 p/h- £23,968 p/s upon going permanent - Bank Holidays Nights - £25.28 per hour Shifts available on night shifts across 7 days a week. All rotas will be confirmed and in place 1 month in advance until such time you become a permanent employee.
