Job Description

Our client, based in Crewe, is currently recruiting for a Bricklayer on a temporarycontract for three months.The position is due to start immediately on a full time basis. The hourly rate is negotiable based on experience for this position.The successful candidate must hold NVQ Level 2 (City & Guilds) Bricklaying Qualification or equivalent recognised competency in the required trade.Duties will include (but not limited to):

  • Delivering high standards of brickwork, pointing, cavity vent installations, wall ties and damp proof course installations
  • Removing debris and carrying out minor groundwork
  • Carrying out associated activities within acceptable quality standards to support Guinness’s KPIs for a first time fix
  • Contributing to the delivery of a great customer service and the achievement of operational KPIs
  • Providing accurate working information on operational activities, electronically or otherwise, in accordance with legislative and company requirements and procedures
  • Assessing risks prior to carrying out work and taking appropriate Health and Safety measures to ensure personal safety and the safety of our customers and colleagues
    • Experience required:
  • NVQ Level 2 (City & Guilds) Bricklaying Qualification or equivalent recognised competency in the required trade.
    • Working hours (add/delete as appropriate):
  • 39 hours per week
  • Mon to Thur 8am to 4.30pm & Fri 8am to 3.30pm
