Job Description

Are you an experienced Air Tool Maintenance andCalibration Engineer looking for an exciting new opportunityAs a worldwide specialist in calibration and asset management services, our stated mission is to optimize the industrial performance of our different clients by enhancing their measurement processes. Starting in 1999, Trescal has grown massively coveringa total of 26 countries worldwide Would you like to be a part of our successWe have an opportunity for an Air Tool Maintenance and Calibration Engineer based at our customer site in Crewe, Cheshire.What will I be responsible forJoining our team as an Air Tool Maintenance and Calibration Engineer, you will be responsible for undertaking various maintenance activities and calibrations to Customers specification and ISO900 accredited in accordance with Company Procedures, UKAS regulationsand recognised specifications.Maintaining relevant records of work, data and results in a traceable and auditable manner utilizing our customers tooling management systems. Your key responsibilities will also include:

  • Perform calibration of customer equipment using approved procedures and good Metrology practice.
  • Maintain torque tooling in line with the OEMs recommendation.
  • Identify and develop productivity improvement opportunities and support operational efficiency projects.
  • Maintain calibration instrumentation, equipment, and facilities to required standards.
  • Calibration and maintenance of tooling in line with customer and OEM standards.
  • Participate in customer surveillance and accreditation audits.
  • Conduct all duties in accordance with Company Health and Safety procedures and policies.
  • Provide technical support to Customers and Colleagues on request in line with capability.
  • Complete all assigned Quality and Continuous Improvement activities in accordance with Company Procedures.
Our ideal Air Tool Maintenance and Calibration Engineer
  • Have previous experience calibrating and maintenance of torque tooling
  • Ideally a technical qualification such as degree, HND, HNC, BTEC.
  • Good understanding of calibration practices and theories.
  • Experience of working within a customer focussed environment.
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to work with the minimum of supervision & manage your own workload
