Job Description

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Digital PR Assistantto join our PR team based in Colwick, Nottingham. The successful candidate will start as soon as possible.This is a hybrid role, with three days in the office and two days working from home. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about pursuing a skilled career in PR.Hillarys are part of the Hunter Douglas group of companies, so this role provides opportunities to work across multiple brands under the group. You will work closely with different teams across our Marketing function, including the SEO, Design, and Brandteams, so good relationship building skills are essential.Previous experience in Digital PR, and having an understanding of Digital PR strategies is desirable but not essential. In this role, the passion to learn and develop takes precedence over a specific background and qualifications in PR.As a Digital PR Assistant, here is an idea of what you will be doing:

  • Planning and implementing Digital PR Campaigns, and brainstorming campaign ideas.
  • Keeping up-to-date with industry market trends to fuel campaign development.
  • Maintaining and updating media lists and reports.
  • Maximising link building activity across our brands.
  • Identifying and developing effective working relationships with key media contacts for suitable niches/ sectors.
  • Drafting editorial copy, including press releases, features and by-lines.
