Are you based in the Colwick area Do you enjoy working in a varied, active role in a fast paced, warehouse environmentJewson Partnership Solutions (JPS) Colwick is on the hunt for a Warehouse Assistant/Driver whos as passionate about great service as we are.JPS are specialists in providing solutions and building materials for our customers in the Public Sector such as Housing Associations and Local Authorities.We provide a fulfilling and enjoyable work environment with ample opportunities for career growth, along with a competitive salary, staff discount, life assurance, and 31 days of holiday (inclusive of bank holidays).Hours:7.30 - 5.00 Monday to FridayLocation: Colwick Industrial Estate, Private Road No.1, Colwick, Nottingham NG4 2JQKey Responsibilities of a Warehouse Assistant/Driver:

Help to prepare customer orders, load and unload customer and supplier vehicles using a Forklift Truck to minimise manual handling (training will be provided) .
Check incoming deliveries and report missing or damaged products.
Maintain stock levels in both the warehouse and yard areas, carrying out regular stock counts.
Keep the branch looking clean and tidy, to make a great first impression on our customers.
Welcome customers to the branch and take an active interest in their projects.
Get to know our product lines so you can offer advice and help to customers, making the most of all customer interactions.
Make Health & Safety a priority and demonstrate how you can keep yourself and others safe at work
Perform deliveries and collections of materials to best assist our customers using a 3.5t van.

Required Skills and Experience:

Full valid manual driving license.
Previous industry experience preferred but not essential.
Stellar communication and people skills.
Customer focussed individual.
Confident working both indoors and outdoors, with a strong focus on H&S.
Comfortable in a role involving extensive manual handling of bulky items.
