Tired of working shift patterns and would like to work a four day working week Do you thrive on the opportunity to work as part of a team, in a fast paced environment We have an exciting opportunity for dynamic and hard-working production operatives tojoin our team in Colwick.These are permanent dayshift positions, with the added benefit of a four day working week. This will give you a three day weekend every week to provide a better work life balance.The purpose of this role is to manufacture made to measure blinds to agreed timescales and quality standards, whilst maintaining a safe and secure working environment.The key responsibilities of this role are as follows, but not limited to:

Monitor own performance to ensure hourly efficiency targets are met.
Monitor production of blinds throughout the manufacturing process to ensure they meet company quality standards.
Maintain service levels to meet the needs of the business.

Multiskilling for flexibility to meet the needs of the business.
Follow work instructions, safe working procedures and all other company policies.
Work effectively as a member of a team to assemble and/or pack blinds made to customers individual requirements and to the specification of the product.

Have a strong use of own initiative.
Be quality and safety conscious.
Basic numeracy and literacy skills.
Excellent attention to detail.
Be a strong team player and capable of working to targets.
Experience of working in a production environment.
Ideally, it is desirable that you have experience of using a sewing machine for specific sewing machinist roles.
