Passionate about Sport Local to BathIf youre looking for a part-time (2 days pw) No1 Finance role, this could be your ideal opportunity!Im working exclusively with British Bobsleigh & Skeleton Association (BBSA).The UK Association covers all aspects of the sports, particularly those who represent the UK in international competition and Olympic Winter Games.The roleAs Head of Finance, youre responsible for the finance function, including a supporting bookkeeper.Advise the Board on the financial implications of BBSAs strategic plans and key assumptions included in managements operational plan and annual budget.Business partner key stakeholders to engage them in the discipline of tight budgetary control.Ensure financial integrity at all times, given your thorough understanding of the accounting procedures and key internal controls.Full compliance with the regulatory requirements of HMRC, Companies House and UK Sport.Your backgroundAs a professionally qualified accountant, you will have in-depth experience operating at Board level and will be comfortable performing a "hands-on" role.Extensive experience of budgeting/forecasting and maintaining financial controls.A confident communicator, able to influence at Board level and non-finance stakeholders.In return;Up to £80,000 (pro-rata, 2 days pw), depending on experience.On-site parking in Bath.
