Job Description

We are looking for an events assistant to support the Events and Ceremonies Team in the co-ordination and delivery of a rolling programme of annual and one-off events at our clients educational institution based in Bath.Events Assistant Duties

  • Assisting the teams Event Managers in the co-ordination and delivery of a rolling programme of annual and one-off events
  • Respond quickly and in a helpful manner to telephone, written and email queries from staff, students and the public.
  • Provide extensive administrational support to the Events Team.
  • Attend and help in the preparation of administration/papers
  • Assist with the creation of copy and proof-reading of texts
Events Assistant - the ideal candidate:
  • Knowledge of Higher Education processes
  • Good knowledge and interest in events management.
  • Previous experience of working in an event delivery role.
  • Excellent administrational skills with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
Events assistant Hours and Pay:
  • £10 - £11.50 per hour
  • Holiday Pay
  • Monday - Friday only (No Weekends!)
  • Full time work within the Core hours of 9am - 5:20 pm
