We also pay sleepover hours at £10.50 per hour.Contracted hours rising to £10.63 per hour after one years service.Quarriers services in the North Lanarkshire area (Cumbernauld, Kilsyth, Moodiesburn and Stepps) are looking for full time, part time and relief Support Workers to assist in the provision of individualised support to adults and/or young people, with a widerange of disabilities, either on an individual 1:1 basis or alongside others and as part of a team.As a Support Worker, you will work with individuals who have a wide range of support needs, providing them with their personal care and encouraging them to achieve their own personal outcomes in all aspects of their daily lives e.g. keeping safe, meaningfulactivities, community involvement, physical health, relationships, emotional health and wellbeing.A full, clean drivers licence is essential for this role. Could you support Emily Emily lives in the Cumbernauld area in her own tenancy and is supported by all-female staff on a 24-hour basis. Ideally you will hold a driving licence as Emily enjoys getting out and about in her car, which staff drive for her. She enjoys being outdoorsas well as attending local community groups. Bring the fun-loving side of your personality as Emily enjoys music and arts and crafts and likes staff who support her to be bright and chatty. Emily needs support with all aspects of daily living including washingand dressing, meal preparation and household tasks as well as support with her health and wellbeing.The hours of support required to suit Emily can vary.A typical working week for a staff member working 30 hours per week with one sleepover is as follows:(Part time hours are also available)MonOffTuesOffWed9am - 10pm and SleepoverThurs7:30am - 9amFri9am - 5pmSat9am - 4:30pmSunOff(Weekend working is also required as part of a rotational system i.e. two weekends off in four).Could you support Ben Ben lives in the Cumbernauld area and has his own car. Ben enjoys going out for drives with staff, going to local community groups and clubs and meeting his friends. Ben requires full support with daily living tasks ie, washing, dressing, mealtime preparationand assistance with household tasks, eg, financial support and support to manage his health and wellbeing. Ben is happy to have male or female support staff.A typical working week for Bens support worker, part time, 20 hours could be:(Full time hours are also available)MonOffTuesOffWed9am-9pm and Sleepover Thurs8am- 9am Fri9am-4pm SatOffSunOffCould you support Gerry Gerry is a young man who lives in the Cumbernauld area with his family. Gerry accesses the community with the use of his car which staff will drive. He enjoys getting out and about in the community and meeting his friends as well as going for lunch and outdoorwalks. Gerry likes his support workers to help him try new activities and be willing to support him with his personal care ie, shaving, bathing, washing and dressing and assisting him with meals. Gerry communicates through sounds and requires his staff tobe patient and have a positive outlook to life.
