We’ve won many awards from Best Building Society (Savings Champion Awards 2019) toThe Times Top 25 Best Big Companies To Work For 2020and our Branch Network is essential in supporting this!We’re looking for a Branch Manager to join us in our newly refurbished branch inChipping Sodbury, to lead and inspire our customerfocusedteam.In our role you’ll beresponsible forleading, engaging and supporting your team who provide an exceptional bespoke, face to face service to our diverse range of customers.Our branch is really in the heart of the community in Chipping Sodbury and youll play a key part to make sure the branch have a positive impact there. Youll be passionate about making a difference by understandingand caring for the people in the area you deliver service to.You’ll be passionate about your people, setting a service focused vision and delivering high standards. You’ll take ownership for making sure your team is equipped to provide an individual customer service, get things right first time and following risk procedures. Youll care and support your team to achieve their own personal development goals, understandingthem individually and looking after their wellbeing.And whilst we have a clear passion to deliver exceptional service and achieve goals, this role is not sales based and there are no targets!We have a reputation for excellent customer service and want to meet people who care about customers as much as we do. Your experience will therefore already have a strong customer service appreciation.To be successful in our role you’ll already have recentexperience working in financial services, specifically from a branch based environment. Youll either already be a manager lookimgfor a change or will be starting your leadership journey, so will have strong coaching and / or supervisory experience.You’ll be passionate about leading people and will be able to demonstrate where your experience has made a difference to them. This will include experience of supporting, coaching and developing individuals who provide high standards of customer service and quality. Youll also be a team player with excellent communicationskills and youll have a strong understandingof risks and controls.You’ll be experienced in delivering excellent levels of customer service and will be able to identify where youve improved their experience.
