Job Description

Customer Liaison Officer We are currently looking for a professional, motivated, and resilient individual to join our Tenant Engagement Team as a Customer Liaison Officer to oversee the day-to-day management of customer complaints, compliments and member enquiries.To be successful in the role, you will need to be able to engage with our customers, listening to their requirements and influencing how the complaint is dealt with in line with our processes.Within your role as Customer Liaison Officer, you will:

  • Manage a caseload of complaints and respond to compliments and members enquiries received from a variety of stakeholders.
  • Always provide excellent customer service to both internal and external customers. Being a confident communicator, able to have difficult conversations whilst remaining helpful, supportive and professional, always acting with integrity.
  • Manage the complaints resolution procedure with a solutions focused approach, using sound judgment when making decisions on how to escalate complaints.
  • Respond independently to unexpected problems and be able to adapt to the reactive nature of the role.
  • Provide advice and guidance to both internal and external stakeholders, having an awareness of the priorities and challenges of all parties.
  • Work collaboratively with other departments across the organisation to ensure a consistent approach to the complaints management procedure.
To be considered for our Customer Liaison Officer roleyou will need to be able to demonstrate you have:
  • Strong problem-solving skills.
  • Resilience and professionalism in difficult situations.
  • Experience of working in a regulated environment.
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills.
  • Experience of collaborating with others.
  • Good standard of ICT literacy.
