Real temp-to-perm opportunity with a well-established teamRates of £10.50 per hour increasing to £11.00 after 12 weeks completed, with regular salary reviews.Clean modern facility with free parkingWe are seeking a Goods-In Operative with proven experience with all aspects of despatch / storage / logistics.To contribute to the daily running of the Goods-Inward department and oversea manufacturing parts coming into the company that need to be identified and allocated to the correct departments, also working to the needs of the business demands would be essential.You would be joining a warm, welcoming team of operatives and engineers in a clean and tidy manufacturing facility. You would benefit from a well-equipped canteen, free parking, and regular review meetings with your Line Manager to help with your professionaldevelopment. Due to the wide range on their manufacturing line, it is vital that all applicants have a good level of English and comprehension, in order to cross-reference batch numbers against despatch paperwork.To apply for the Goods-In Operative role, you must have the following key attributes:- Good verbal and written communication skills- Be able to work as part of a team or on their own- Min level of I.T skills (navigating warehouse management stock systems)- Fork lift license but not essentialYour day-to-day duties as a Warehouse Storeman / Goods-In Operative include;- Ensure all despatch processes are adhered to within the department- All products are to be despatched and checked within company guidelines in a timely manner- To help with the daily running of the despatch department- Packaging our products and ensuring all customer requests are met.- To carry out any other reasonable request as directed by Supervisor/Manager- To ensure all processes and procedures are followed and adhered to within the goods-inwards area- Material handling with use of Counterbalance FLTHours of work and pay for the Warehouse Operative role include:07:30am-16:30pm Monday to Friday | £10.50 per hourIf you are interested, please click below to apply.
