Job Description

Position Summary:We are currently looking for an experienced Part Qualified or Qualified Accountant to join us at Infor in our Solihull Office as part of our Revenue Team. The desired candidate will play a key role in driving the Revenue department forward and ensuringrevenue is reported to the business in accordance with GAAP. You will play a crucial role in overseeing the reporting processes whilst maintaining accurate financial records and preparing a variety of reports. The ideal candidate will be confident, highlyanalytical and able to engage with a number of different stakeholders and teams in various locations. A Day in the Life Typically Includes:

  • Play a key role in the production of monthly revenue reporting to the business, in accordance with published timetables
  • Own & oversee key revenue reporting processes
  • Liaise with business managers and other departments, ensuring that revenue recognition is completed in accordance with GAAP
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with teams across Infor’s various locations
  • Take ownership of EMEA reconciliation processes
  • Ensure Balance Sheet reconciliations are completed in a timely manner
  • Working closely with external audit
  • Strong involvement with the SaaS/Hospitalities teams across the whole European business ensuring projects are reported correctly in both the P&L and Balance sheet
What You Will Need:
  • Strong knowledge of GAAP
  • Highly advanced IT skills - in particular MS Excel & Alteryx (desired but not essential)
  • Strong communication, interpersonal and teamwork skills. It is essential that you are confident in dealing with colleagues in various locations
  • Analytical mindset
  • High level of attention to detail & the ability to produce accurate work to tight deadlines
  • Willingness to learn and take on new challenges
  • Possess flexible and enthusiastic attitude
  • Proactive and Independent
  • High level of Integrity
  • Ability and willingness to work additional hours if required
What Will Put You Ahead
  • ACCA/CIMA/ACA qualified or part-qualified
  • Finance/Accounting/Business related degree
  • Affinity with the IT sector (Ideal, not a must)
