Job Description

A key client of ours is looking for an Industrial Engineer to join its team for at least a 6 month contractual period (often extended). This is a well-regarded precision manufacturing business that has offers sociable working hours, a competitive hourlyrate (outside of IR35) and an opportunity to work within its modern-day engineering facility. Lead new equipment delivery release within the Industrial Engineering function.
Liaise and support projects, customer teams and local manufacturing teams.
Ensure that plant equipment is aligned to the required specification, is safe to use, and meets the plant layout and the production schedules agreed.
Manage any SAP requirements, Bills of material accuracy, MTM, Engineering Changes and improvements to support any SOPs.
Review PFMEAs, including matching up with control plans, and lineside RFMEA involvement.

Industrial Engineer desirable skills and experience -

Relevant experience within the Automotive sector (Manufacturing Engineer etc)
Ability to demonstrate the use of tools such as MTM, Takt time, VSM, Process Flow.
Mechanical education (HNC/HND) / relevant Six Sigma training.
