  • The Role:Effectively assist the customer service department with the day-to-day answering of calls, assisting with general customer queries. Maintain high standards of customer service.Working HoursThis is a part time role working Wednesday and Thursday 8.30am - 5.30pmMain Role Duties
  • Answer all calls to the auction centre within 5 rings to ensure that all calls are dealt with promptly.
  • Engage with customer whilst on front desk and answer enquires quickly and efficiently.
  • Give up-to-date general information about events at the auction centre.
  • Refer complex queries to the appropriate department or individual in the auction centre to ensure that the enquiry is dealt with efficiently.
  • Undertake any simple administration work that can be done while also answering the customer service calls.
  • Undertake reception duties as required to meet the needs of the business whilst on front desk.
  • Action any issues, queries or complaints arising so that any problems are resolved, in a timely fashion, to all parties’ satisfaction as far as is reasonably practicable. Escalate any complex issues to the relevant person.
  • Undertake ad-hoc tasks as necessary to meet the business needs and for your own personal development.
  • To quickly respond to customer enquiries reference reports provided i.e. LOL Grade Appraisals, BCA Assured Reports and general declaration details
  • Ensure that group dispute procedures are administered and recorded correctly and in a timely manner.
  • To provide administration support to the senior complaint handlers and customer services manager as required.
  • Efficiently and accurately administer sale cancelations, buyer/vendor refunds and allowances.
  • Effectively manage vendor or third party charges to ensure that the Company’s expenditure is recouped.
  • Perform presale duties required by vendors to meet agreed SLA’s.
  • Liaise with onsite BCA Assured staff (AA) and at BCA Measham with regards to disputes, reports, repairs and retesting.
  • Take on general customer services duties as required in order to meet the needs of the department and the site as a whole.
