  • The Role:The Business Systems Analyst (BSA) will be responsible to analyse and deliver detailed business requirements, processes and functionality which results in the best possible platforms for Partner Finance.Within the Partner Finance area, the successful candidate will need to ensure key business strategies and processes are driven by technology that enable change, growth and flexibility. Working closely with the Finance and Operations functions, to deliver the required technology to support the business strategies and improve the buyer propositions and experiences.The Responsibilities
  • Be responsible for understanding, analysing and interpreting business requirements and needs, liaising with key stakeholders to ensure that deliverables meet the needs of both internal departments and buyers
  • Prepare requirement analysis and business cases for new projects, for both systems and processes
  • Work closely with Third Parties, primarily Netsol, to manage their delivery, support and activities to ensure they are delivering as per Partner Finance requirements
  • Take ownership and responsibility for developing and delivering the detailed requirements to support the solution, ensuring project management process requirements are met including reporting, communication and documentation appropriate to each development
  • Work closely with the business, Group IT and Third Parties to ensure leading edge technology thinking is brought into solutioning and validate that solutions can be delivered to time, cost and align to the business goals and objectives
  • Support the delivery production line (documentation, testing and implementation) ensuring that all deliverables meet business requirements and are fit for purpose to release
  • The Person:
  • Hands-on system analyst, who has experience with Finance systems
  • Able to drive business value, from technology solutions
  • Clear balance of both technical and business skills
  • Highly resilient and has lived through an organisation going through transformational change
  • Ability to think and develop strategic / long-term proposals and manage day-to-day product development and support
  • Ability to challenge, influence and manage multiple stakeholders within technology and business functions
  • Being detail oriented and having the ability to conceptualize, prioritize, and manage multiple projects
  • Strong commercial acumen; understands the key financial drivers and dynamics related to growth and revenue goals
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • High level of personal ownership and unimpeachable business integrity
  • A clear ability to translate financial information into meaningful insights
  • Required Experience
  • Experience, 3+ years, in Financial or Operational systems
  • Experience, 3+ years, of business or systems analyst
  • Understanding of software development processes and cycles
  • Knowledge and experience of Agile and Waterfall development frameworks
  • Significant, demonstrable repeat experience of delivering projects on time and on budget
