• 32.5 - 37.5 hours, worked Sunday - Thursday, usually always between 9am and 5.15pm
• £11.84 per hour (£23,176 pro-rata - FTE is 37.5 hours p/week)

Please Note: Applicants must be authorised to work in the UKDetails of the role:We are seeking a Shop Manager to be involved and lead on everything from day-to-day shop responsibilities such as serving customers and stock displays to selecting new product lines that align with our purchasing ethics.The successful candidate will lead and support the Shop team, develop the Shop’s sales and contribute to future strategy so that our Shop thrives as a community-based enterprise.Our Shop stocks a range of products, many made or grown by adults with learning disabilities at Brunswick. From plants in our garden nursery and organic veg to crafts and handmade woodwork products, our shop offers a creative and varied range to customers.Our shop is part of Brunswick of York Community Interest Company (BOYCIC). All profits are gifted to Brunswick Organic Nurseries Limited (Brunswick’) Charity No. 1010178 to further its work with people with learning disabilities and Autism. Brunswick, theCharity, provides a productive and rewarding environment for people with learning disabilities to work in. Building skills and confidence, supporting wellbeing and developing independence are all outcomes which we seek through offering opportunities in ourdifferent work areas.About you:The successful applicant will have the following skills, experiences and qualities:

• Retail experience is essential
• Shop management experience is highly desirable
• Excellent customer service skills essential
• Proficiency in EPOS system and Microsoft Excel required
• Strong analytical abilities for data-driven decision-making
• Knowledge of plants and plant care essential
• Commitment to offering opportunities for people with learning disabilities
