Job Description

We are looking for a Web & Digital Media Manager to cover a period of maternity leave and to help drive our digital and content marketing strategy forward across all digital channels. Ourgoal is to create a best-in-class digital commerce experience for our members and potential members. The successful candidate will strengthen our brand, drive improved engagement, traffic and conversion rates across all channels with a commercial focus onlead generation.Responsible for managing the company CMS, this role requires someone who can work between a team of marketing executives and who can be the conduit between Bira and our CRM/CMS developers, therefore a technical knowledge is required that is a little higherthan the average marketing executive.Bira is an exciting and dynamic organisation with ambitious goals.   1. Maintain the company website, front and back end, working closely with our website agency and internal teams. This includes quickly learning about the CMS, CRM and other systems we have in place.
  2. Lead generation, user experience improvement and traffic building across website and digital channels.
  3. Working with the Systems Manager to implement new ways of working within marketing, including marketing and internal process automation.
  4. Evaluate emerging technologies and all things digital. Provide thought leadership and perspective for adoption and bring new ideas to the team.
  5. Copy writing across all digital platforms working closely with Marketing Manager and Executives.
  6. Utilise your abilities to continually develop the website, create email templates, landing pages, capture data etc.
  7. Support the team to develop SEO and to assist with Google Ad Manager / Email marketing campaigns and maintaining a best practice.
  8. Adopt and grow our social media presence to generate influencers and leads.
  9. Measure and report on performance of all digital marketing activity and assess against goals (ROI and KPIs).
  10. Optimise spend and performance based on identified trends and insights.
  11. Work closely with the Advertising Sales Executive to plan, implement and execute all web-based advertising campaigns.
  12. Optimise user experience, regularly execute, and measure experiments and conversion tests.
  13. Analyse and evaluate end-to-end customer experience across multiple channels and customer touch points with a digital focus.
  14. Collaborate with agencies and other vendor partners.
PERSON SPECIFICATION Web & Digital Media ManagerQualification
  • Degree in digital marketing, marketing or a related field
Experience
  • Demonstrable working experience in digital marketing - leading and managing SEO/SEM, marketing database, email, social media and advertising campaigns
  • Working with CMS and CRM developers to achieve developments/fixes and improvements required by the marketing team.
  • Excellent web/digital media project management and estimating experience.
  • Experience in identifying target audiences and devising digital campaigns that engage, capture data and motivate action.
  • Experience in optimising landing pages and conversion funnels.
  • Experience with A/B and multivariate experiments.
  • Solid knowledge of website analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Google Trends, Search Console, etc.)
  • Working knowledge of ad serving tools
  • Basic understanding of HTML5 and CSS (this is not a coding role).
  • Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite or similar.
  • Experience of working within retail
  • Experience in setting up and optimising Google Adwords campaigns
  • Experience of managing e-commerce facilities.
  • Experience of driving traffic to apps.

Additional Requirements
  • Standard hours are 9am to 5pm Monday to Friday. However, in the lead up to major campaigns or events, longer hours may be necessary. Rare but occasional weekend work and travel to meet retailers and suppliers, attend exhibitions, conferences and other eventsis expected.
