About The RoleAre you an experienced Ophthalmic Nurse looking to work for an organisation that is driven by quality and innovation In 2017 Practice Plus Group Ophthalmology, North West was named as the first ophthalmology service in the country to receive an outstandingrating from the CQC, so you can be sure that you are part of a team providing safe, reliable and patient-focused care.We are looking for Nurse Injectors to work in our mobile units, in and around the Rochdale area so you must be willing to travel.About The CandidateWorking on the mobile units means that you will need to be able to work independently and without direct supervision at times. As an NMC registered Nurse with ophthalmic qualifications (or willingness to undertake OCCF Level 3) and experience of ophthalmicnursing, you will also need to be able to undertake intravitreal injections or be willing to be trained to do so. Many other ophthalmic skills e.g. OCT, pachymetry, AMD, glacuoma will be advantageous.Your knowledge of clinical governance, your ability to use your initiative and your commitment to providing high quality services to the community will all be well received at Practice Plus Group.About The CompanyEverything we do is focused on providing a high standard of safe and effective patient care.
