If you’re an accomplished administrator with experience in a Healthcare environment, and an unfaltering dedication to quality is something you are very proud of; like us, then the role of Macular Service Coordinator at Practice Plus Group Ophthalmology could be the perfect role for you.You will be part of the team responsible for handling macular clinical referrals and bookings within our multi-location North West/National Ophthalmology Service, co-ordinating urgent first appointments and managing on-going regular follow up appointments within critical set timeframes.The role is broad; from dealing with that first urgent referral requiring a fast track appointment (perhaps needing gentle patient persuasion to attend quickly), as well as ensuring that a clinic can accommodate that patient, to creating efficient clinics in multiple locations, requiring liaison with operational and clinical teams and a thorough understanding of expected patient numbers for each location.
