Job Description

Job Title: Product Marketing - Citronix Inc (Division of Domino Printing)Location: Cambridge, UK or Arlington, TexasTypre: Full Time / Permanent About UsDomino Printing Sciences plc, a subsidiary company of Brother Industries Limited, comprises of a group of businesses and brands, each with unique capabilities, targeted at industries utilising coding and marking for product identification and printing ofvariable data. This position is part of Citronix Inc, a business which designs and manufactures continuous ink jet printers to apply identification marks such as best before dates, logos, traceability, and batch codes to almost any kind of material for a widerange of industrial sectors, including food and beverage. These products are sold exclusively through a network of ~100 distributors in Americas, Europe, Middle East, Africa and Asia Pacific. Sales are in the region of $15-25m and high growth rates are expectedto continue. The company, which is wholly owned by a successful UK-based £0.5bn business, has ~30 employees and is based in Arlington, Texas.About the roleThis role requires close cooperation with Product Management, Engineering, Technical Support, Operations and Sales to manage product issues and new feature/product introductions and to communicate these effectively to the sales channels. As a customer advocate,you will help steer the direction of future products, features and services and drive continuous improvement within the business. You will enhance the sales capabilities of the global distribution network by producing sales and marketing materials, providingtechnical communications and product training, both directly and remotely.In this role youll have the opportunity to:

  • Deliver product, applications, and competitor analysis training to distributors at annual distributor conferences (S. America, Europe & Asia Pacific) and to individual channels as required.
  • Manage communication of any product improvements and issues to the channels by working with Engineering, Technical Support and/or Operations teams.
  • Provide recommendations to the product manager and engineering team to assist in the continual development of products.
  • Pro-actively assist distributors with significant customer projects, advising on optimal product configuration to win projects.
  • Raise global brand awareness and leads generation through website development and SEO, social media strategy and management, brand guides, supporting our distributors in raising Citronix brand awareness, preparing for and attending global trade show exhibitionsand other activities as appropriate.
  • Develop, maintain, and distribute all sales support materials for new and existing products to enable distributors to sell effectively.
About youWere seeking candidates with an industrial product management and/or product marketing, business to business background. Youll also have an educational background in an engineering-based discipline. This is a varied roles requiring the ability to assistinitiatives such as deploying 3rd party cloud-based solutions, delivering training across all levels of a business, as well as managing marketing campaigns and collateral - and we will be keen to see examples of your experience in these aspects.Candidates will be required to work autonomously, utilising their initiative and energy to drive objectives forward. Youll have strong presentation and interpersonal skills which will enable you to work effectively with both colleagues and customers atall levels.The role can be based in Cambridge UK or Arlington, Texas and will require international travel.
