Product Development Engineer/Technician

We are partnering with a manufacturing company seeking a Product Development Engineer/Technician in Cambridge on a hybrid basis.Key Responsibilities:

Oversee Operations NPD tasks to ensure the allocated projects are completed successfully.
Work together with the product, operations, and design teams to ensure that the project is completed.
Work together with production teams to put best practices into action.
Create and oversee the delivery of PPAP specifications for new goods.
Maintain constant contact with suppliers to guarantee that the components and resources you need are available.
Produce and keep up-to-date thorough documentation about the deliverables of operations.
Verify that every documentation conforms to business policy and legal requirements.
Provide stakeholders with regular progress reports that highlight important accomplishments and difficulties.

Skills Required:

Engineering background, excelling in project management and quality assurance
A degree in engineering or a related field or equivalent experience.
Competence in pertinent engineering fields (mechanical, electrical, software, etc.), including familiarity with CAD software, production procedures, and engineering concepts.
Be original and have a creative thought.
Strong ability to manage projects.
Capacity to collaborate well in multidisciplinary teams.
Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
Essential to be flexible in managing changing project requirements and adaptive to new working situations.
Familiarity with quality control procedures, industry standards, and legal requirements as they pertain to product creation.
Capacity to comprehend technical requirements, analyse data, and make data-driven decisions during the product development process.
