Job Description

We’re currently recruiting for a manufacturing based in North Cambridge for a Logistics Assistant on a full-time, permanent basis. The role is working 9am - 5pm, Monday - Friday.This role is an integral position within the team and links the sales admin and warehouse operations team to ensure all deliveries are processed and meet customer expectations.Typical duties would include:

  • Managing logistics both inbound and outbound.
  • Booking deliveries with customers and arranging transport for couriers.
  • Liaising with the wider team including the warehouse and sales teams.
  • Answering calls and dealing with customer queries.
The successful candidate:
  • Previous experience within a similar logistics role.
  • Proficient with Microsoft office, with a particular focus on Excel
  • Well organised with a high level of attention to detail
  • Able to build and maintain strong working relationships both internally and externally.
