Job Description

I am currently recruiting for a SEN Support worker and Teaching/Learning Support Assistants to join an Ofsted GOOD SEN School in Uxbridge starting immediately.The roles will be full-time, long-term, supporting various aspects of education (all classroom based), 1:1 and group learning for Key Stage 5 pupils (11 to 21 years old), the school caters for children & young people with SLD,SEMH and additional Learning Difficulties / Special Educational Needs.Location: Uxbridge (UB8)Duration: Long TermStart Date: ImmediateContract: Monday - Friday (Full-Time)The successful applicants will have: Experience of working with or caring for children of a relevant age (Primary - Key Stage 1 and/or 2, mixed gender) Previous experience working with vulnerable individuals or SEN Excellent Behaviour Management skills Ability to utilise/implement Positive Behaviour Strategies A calm, patient manner and ability to react positively to a fast-changing environment Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with students, staff and parents/careers Ability to competently use a computer and the Internet (Word, Excel & PowerPoint) An Enhanced Child & Adult Workforce barred list DBS Certificate registered on the update serviceIf you would like to be considered for this role or require further information, please feel free to apply.
