Seven Social Care is looking for 2 Area Supervisor posts – This role will need to be passionate about recycling reuse and diverting waste from landfill and disposal routes into reuse. The post will support on the contract we have in place liaising with thecontractor to increase communication between the parties and assist in educating and training site staff to identify suitable materials to segregate and reuse.Working days and hours: Working pattern to be agreed with line manager based on 37 to 40 hours per week across 7 days. Weekend work is mandatory, preferably 1 in 2, but a minimum of 1 in 3. Overtime is likely to be availableThe role will mainly field based, travelling to RHWSs and WTSs. There may be some ability to work form home or form County Hall, but this is expected to be minimal. The role is a supervisor of site staff across all the Council’s waste sites.Essential:Good IT skillsGood interpersonal skillsGood numeracy and literacy skillsExperience of dealing with customersExperience of line managing multiple staffExperience of delivering training packagesValid UK drivers licence for driving up to a 3.5 tonne vehicle, access to own vehicle and insurance to cover business use desirable.Applicant Requirements:
