Care Support WorkerWidmore Road, Bromley, BR1 3BEFull and Part Time Hours available£10.50 per hourDo you want to make a positive difference to people’s lives, enabling them to gain greater independence and improve their well-being If the answer is yes, read on!Who we are.We are Ambient Support, a registered UK charity with over 25 years’ experience in providing care and support services for older people, people with a mental health needs and people with learning disabilities. Our service in Bromley is looking for a committed and empathetic CareSupport Worker, to care for 10 Respite service users, with complex learning disability needs. Our service encourages activities in and, round the community including, farm visits, swimming, shopping, andparticipating in day centres in the community.The RoleA fantastic opportunity for you to make a positive difference to people’s lives by encouraging our service users to take part in activities. On day trips out we may use a minibus for small groups, or we may choose to use public transport to help buildconfidence and familiarity with local landmarks. This forms an important part of vocational training to help people develop more independent living skills. No two days will be the same and you will be rewarded with the satisfaction that you are making a difference.About youWe are looking for new Care Support Workers to join our passionate and supportive team. With your help we can make a positive difference, enabling greater independence, improved wellbeing and more importantly a friendly face offering reliability andsupport. You will ideally have experience supporting adults with Learning Difficulties, including Autism, although if your experience is limited but your passion for the role is high then full training will be provided.Our main focus is to find individuals with the right values and behaviours making an impact on people’s lives, being inclusive, inspirational, innovative and above all treating our services users with compassion maintaining integrity at all times.
