Job Description

We are currently working with a forward-thinking manufacturing company who are looking to add a Materials Handler to their existing team, the role will be responsible for receiving and locating all items and materials and picking the required items for works orders.Start: ASAPLocation: Ely, CambridgeshireHours: Monday - Thursday 7:30am to 4:30pm with an unpaid lunch break of 30 minutes each day and Friday 7:30am - 12:30pmHourly Rate: £10.67 an hourDuration: 6-month Fixed Term ContractDuties:

Receive goods into the stores and ensure that they are stored appropriately

Picking and packing of orders by following a works order

Carry out regular inventory control - usually on a weekly basis

Maintaining a clean and tidy work area

Packing the finished products

Carrying out adhoc warehouse duties

Safely operate and maintain stores equipment

Ensure the stores areas are maintained in a clean and tidy condition

Skills and Experience Required:

Accuracy and attention to detail

Ability to prioritise

Ability to carry out instructions

Good work ethic

Work as an individual but as part of a team

Able to multi-task
