The Insite Manager will be responsible and accountable for overseeing the efficient operation and development of stores and associated operations at the assigned customer Site, in this case Amphenol Ltd. The on-site manager will oversee 7 stores operatives and the processes and policies that they work to, to ensure they are performing in the best possible way when managing stock for the site.Commercial and used to operating in a competitive environment, you will develop on-site relationships with relevant stakeholders whilst also identifying and executing opportunities for revenue growth and margin improvement through spend consolidation and the provision of additional services from Brammer Buck and Hickman. The Manager will provide the service and support required by the customer Site Engineering Managers to deliver value for the site in line with our contractual terms.In an ideal world it would be great for you to have knowledge of our products and services, but this isn’t essential. What is important is that you have experience which can help when advising procurement teams on the best possible stock management approaches, managing those who don’t directly report to you and provide excellent customer service.Brammer Buck & Hickman is Europe’s leading distributor of industrial maintenance, repair and overhaul products and services, including bearings, mechanical power transmission, pneumatics, hydraulics, tools and PPE.Amphenol Ltd, based in Whitstable, Kent in the UK employs around 300 people and hosts full end-to-end manufacturing of circular connectors and total interconnect solutions for multiple applications across aerospace, military and industrial markets around the world.Key Responsibilities:• Indirectly managing a team of seven who are responsible for manning and issuing parts from a maintenance stores, replenishing and maintaining lineside vending and kan ban locations and day-to-day quotations and orders.• Attendance at daily/weekly production and engineering meetings to understand initiatives and priorities at the site• Development and Implementation of agreed stores management services and processes with customer site teams• Advising procurement teams on the best stock management policies and procedures• Consistent delivery of agreed levels of customer service, against the formal agreement, encompassing the agreed site specific KPIs and target.• Ensure clear understanding of role requirements and associated stores management processesKey Skills:• Ability to build strong relationships with customers and colleagues.• Self driven and motivated to see each assigned task through to the end.• Worked in a similar role and able to demonstrate transferable skills.Take your career to the next step and let’s work together to support European and British industry Required skills
