Job Description

Hybrid working Salary: £22,000 (+£3k on call bonus paid with salary)The Camping and Caravanning Club is the worlds oldest and largest Club for all forms of camping and our aim is to help people enjoy the simple pleasures that camping can bring. Its an exciting time to join the organisation and be a part of our continuedgrowth.As one of the leading names in the outdoor industry, we pride ourselves on truly understanding the needs of our customers, giving them peace of mind when enjoying a stay on one of our 100 campsites. We are a not-for-profit organisation, which means thatevery penny spent with us is invested back into improving facilities and services for our members.We are currently looking for an experienced and dynamic Service Desk Analyst to join our brilliant Business Systems team.Reporting to the Service Desk Manager, the successful candidate will provide first class end to end user support and customer service to our users at HQ, those working from home and Campsite teams working remotely across our nationwide network.This is a varied role where you can expect to:

  • Offer Application & Technical Support of all remote Campsites, home working and HQ staff, carrying out regular problem solving across all systems.
  • Implementing, recording and processing configuration changes for new requests for the Clubs booking engine and membership system.
  • Utilise the helpdesk Ticketing application to log, retrieve, record, update all problems reported so that activity reports can be generated within expected timeframes.
  • Setup, manage and edit users on all CCC applications. Active Directory, Exchange Online, PCs, Legacy Systems, Laptops, VPN, CAG, iGel & Citrix desktops / remote access/ Microsoft Authenticator / Employee Self Service/ Mobile Device / Mitel IP/EAD & SoftphonePhone Systems.
  • Prioritise support calls, both internally and with third party support vendors
  • Perform daily/monthly system application tasks
  • Participate in Office moves and relocates
  • Work with 3rd line and Desktop support to ensure reviews of scheduled tasks and infrastructure security is always maintained
  • Perform other duties within Business Systems when the need arises
To be successful in this role you will have:
  • Previous experience working on a busy technical Service Desk, is essential
  • Previous Application Support experience
  • Technical knowledge in applications & connectivity
  • Experience with Active Directory, Exchange & Citrix environments
  • An excellent standard of both verbal and written communication
  • Proven problem resolution and troubleshooting skills
This post will require you to commit to rotating shifts, which will alternate weekly between 08:00 and 18:00 from Monday to Friday (37.5 hours per week).The post also involves on-call working from home as primary contact 1 in 5 weekends and secondary contact the same.The Camping and Caravanning Club is a fantastic place to work, with a supportive and dedicated team.
