Job Description

The Head of B2B Sales is a key leader in delivering E.ON’s vision to connect people to good energy and become the energy solutions partner of choice, through selling solutions to businesses at an industrial and commercial scale.This role forms a key part of the EIS UK Commercial Senior Leadership Team, taking overall responsibility for Solution Sales for B2B customers, in all growing markets, including leisure, food and beverage, campuses, hospitals and manufacturing.Key responsibilities include:

  • Taking overall responsibility for Solution Sales for B2B customers, in all growing markets, including leisure, food and beverage, campuses, hospitals and manufacturing.
  • Establishling a high performing, multi-skilled, Solution Sales team to deliver new opportunities to sell solutions to new and existing customers, using several different decarbonisation technologies, and in various market sectors.
  • Responsible for effectively communicating the sales performance, forecasts, and strategies to grow and manager pipelines, opportunities, and alignment with both the Global Account Team and the UK teams.
  • Driving and taking ownership of new customer relationships and opportunities, including managing pipelines, opportunities, and alignment with both the Global Account Team and the Design and Development, Construction, Operations and Maintenance, Commercial,and Programme and Bid teams.
What we need from you
  • A team player capable of achieving goals set out for key accounts.
  • Excellent presentation skills and the ability to influence all levels of clients and internal stakeholders.
  • Significant experience in solutions development, solutions markets and proposition development.
  • Strong management experience, with the ability to lead, motivation and inspire a diverse team.
  • Customer focussed, with experience of Sales and Large and Mid B2B / market customers.
  • Able to work flexibly, including regular business travel.
