Job Description

Senior Infrastructure Server EngineerCoventry | £30-40kA long established and well-respected Managed Service Provider Davis Ground IT Services provide IT Support and Consultancy to clients across the Midlands.Due to continued growth, we are now recruiting an experienced Infrastructure Engineer to join our senior support team on a full-time basis.Role:

  • Provide 2/3rd level technical support to our customers across a wide range of technologies
  • Successful delivery of technical projects to our customers
  • Maintaining our existing customers environments (servers, security, network and backup)
Key Skills and Experience:
  • Proven experience of installation and support of Windows Server (Physical and Virtual) on premise, hybrid and cloud multi-server environments
  • Proven support of Windows Server configured in a variety of roles: DC, RDS and File Server
  • Windows Server AD, Group Policies, PowerShell
  • Hyper-V and VMware
  • Excellent understanding of server hardware
  • Network switches, firewall, routing, VLAN, VPN and wireless
  • O365 migration and administration
  • Microsoft Exchange & MS SQL
  • Backup and Recovery using a variety of tools - MS Backup, Azure, Veeam, Datto
  • Cyber Security understanding
Desirable:
  • Technical Qualifications: MCP, MCSE, MCITP or CCNA.
  • Azure specific certification
  • Azure: Environment deployment and support
  • Hybrid Setups and migration to cloud
  • SAN support and deployment (Dell or HP)

The successful candidate will have:
  • Minimum of 5 years experience within an IT Support role
