Job Description

Sales Manager From £28,000. dependent on experienceOTE £50,000 - uncapped plus Company carVickers Neal are delighted to be working with TruTac based at their headquarters in Coventry.TruTac, part of the Microlise Group, provides market-leading expertise across logistics software, data and compliance. Market leaders for over 30 years, they provide quality, cost-effective, integrated software solutions to improve safety, efficiency, andcompliance. They design and develop their software in-house and through the commitment, drive and experience of their team, have forged long-term relationships with their clients.Due to recent growth and future expansion plans, they are now looking for an additional Sales Manager to join the TruTac family! Reporting into the Sales Director, you will be based primarily at the Coventry office in the Midlands, however the role includes field sales and occasional overnight stays. Ideally you will have eitherinformation technology and software sales experience or commercial transportation industry related knowledge, but a general sales background would be considered also.This is a fantastic opportunity to join a well-established software company who specialise in transportation software - SaaS, Tachographs, Compliance, with a great working atmosphere.   • Generate own leads and appointments
  • Maintain and grow existing accounts and develop new business
  • Plan and carry out direct selling activities to agreed targets and timescales
  • Develop and maintain a customer CRM database and diaries
  • Liaise and attend meetings and events, with sales and marketing team
  • Work with Sales Support team on agreed targets
  • Attend networking events and use initiative to open opportunities
  • Work with marketing on campaigns and diligently follow up all leads
What were looking for
  • Proven track record in sales and negotiations
  • Demonstrate achieving over and above monthly targets
  • Have good commercial acumen
  • Establish new, maintain existing and expand the customer base
  • Increasing business opportunities through various routes to market
  • Exceptional team player with a competitive and winning attitude
  • Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills and the ability to articulate technical solutions in a concise manner
  • Software (SAAS) experience in the transport industry is preferable but not essential
  • Full UK driving licence
