Job Description

  • Responsibility for ongoing quality management as part of contract review processes relating to delivery for all skills and other relevant delivery contracts.
  • Leading on the operational aspects for driving quality and advising the Head of Quality and Compliance.
  • The implementation of effective Continuous Quality Improvement measures
  • You are responsible for training and guidance to all levels of managers and staff on quality and improvement as well as coordinating the communication of all quality issues relating to delivery. You will be required to prepare and submit reports to Headof Quality and Compliance, to coordinate internal quality deep dives, to undertake holistic risk and needs assessments and to be aware of all quality compliance and developments in relation to awarding bodies, Ofsted and funders.
  • You will develop and establish rigorous processes to support quality assurance and early detection of potential risks/issues to enable the proactive early identification of adverse variances in education framework and awarding body requirements.
  • You will lead on ensuring swift action where necessary and ensure appropriate routes of escalation, where required.
  • You will lead on internal quality deep dives and quality activities, to undertake holistic risk assessments relating to delivery.
  • You will lead and influence management decisions regarding Quality of delivery based on the principles of standardisation and best practice.
  • You will manage and support the development and improvement of programmes across all provision.
  • You will be responsible for conducting robust self-assessment and supporting in the implementation of the companies overarching SAR and quality improvement plan.
  • You will assume responsibility for ensuring in scope’ delivery both complies with Ofsted’s standards and the companies wider drive towards continual improvement in teaching and learning
  • Assisting in preparing for and representing the company in regard to Ofsted Inspections
  • Provide the Head of Quality and Compliance with greater visibility and understanding of quality and improvements within teaching and learning.
  • Promote and monitor high standards of attainment, success rates, progress and outcomes across all provision.
  • To monitor, analyse learner and employer data and surveys, feedback and make changes as required and provide reports to SMT.
  • To conduct as a minimum 6 monthly audits of staff CPD logs.
  • Maintain strong working relationships with External stakeholders.
  • Assist with the develop of staff continuous professional development to continue to raise the quality of delivery
· provide feedback and l&d support to iqas to develop their practice to ensure systems and processes are being followed.· monitor, support and co-ordinate the work of the iqa working group and/or trainee iqas.· monitor learner progression escalating any concerns.· escalate any iqa concerns with quality assurance manager.· sample qualifications in line with sampling plan, risk banding and iqa strategy.· ensure all iqa documentation is completed adhering to awarding organisation and company standards.· maintain the integrity of all programmes by reporting any suspected malpractice or maladministration are followed.· provide feedback and advice to assessors to develop their assessment practices and ensure that trainee assessor’s assessment decisions are countersigned.· plan and conduct learner interviews in line with the iqa strategy to ensure quality of delivery.· liaise with awarding organisations (ao) to agree sampling timeline and lead on external quality assurance (eqa) visits.· complete centre updates to inform ao of any changes to delivery team as and when required.· ensure that cross cutting themes are included in the curriculum and that activities are planned and implemented by the relevant champions.· ensure information gathered during good practice groups is routinely disseminated and shared.· monitor the impact of the success of the champion roles.support the curriculum team with the planning and implementation of curriculum design to ensure learner resources are current and fit for purpose.Person Specification :Educational Qualifications:

  • Assessor qualification. E.g. TAQA, A1 or equivalent.
  • A bachelors degree in education, quality management- Desirable
