Job Description

As one of the leading names in the outdoor industry, we pride ourselves on offering exceptional campsites, services and experiences to our members and that friendly culture is also a key part of day-to-day life across our sites network and at our Coventryhead office.We are currently recruiting for a Head of Planning & Programme Management to further support the successful delivery of the Clubs property strategy.This role will lead on the Clubs property procurement and contractor strategy, ensuring that procurement reflects best practice, delivering across cost, quality, time and environmental metrics and safeguarding the Club at all times.It will also ensure the Club effectively manages both its freehold and leasehold estate, remaining compliant with all licence and lease terms; building strong relationships with landlords and ensuring leases are reviewed regularly and renewals negotiatedin a timely fashion in the best interest of the Club.Main duties and responsibilities:

  • Lead and develop a team of professionals to plan and administer the Clubs Development and Repairs and Maintenance programmes, creating an operating structure that focuses on service excellence, quality of delivery and obtaining best value
  • Play a key role in the Clubs Site Development Group, Clubs Acquisition Group, working closely with the Insight Team.
  • Maximise the use of the Facilities Asset Management system to drive process efficiencies, ensure compliance and monitor performance
  • Lead on feasibility and project proposals, supporting new plans and site expansions
  • Champion sustainability in P&D and ensure it is considered alongside time, cost and quality in decision making
  • Ensure that the Clubs utilities contracts are monitored and managed to deliver long term value for the Club
  • Ensure that suppliers are managed to support the P&D Delivery team and operational teams across all utilities areas, including but not limited to electricity, gas, LPG, water and sewage, air conditioning etc.
  • Ensure compliance with regulations including ESOS (Energy Savings Opportunity Scheme) and SECR (Streamlined Energy & Carbon Reporting) government compliance
To be successful, you will have:
  • At least 5 years in a similar role with proven experience of managing strategic delivery processes, operating and advising at a senior management level
  • Professional qualification in a commercial business / property asset development area at degree level or above
  • Significant property procurement experience, including complex tenders
  • Strong financial reporting experience and the proven ability to develop and work within budgets to deliver business targets
  • Experience within the leisure or tourism industry, is desirable
  • Flexibility, as overnight stays, and UK travel will be required to carry out the role
