Job Description

As one of the leading names in the outdoor industry, we pride ourselves on offering exceptional campsites, services and experiences to our members and that friendly culture is also a key part of day-to-day life across our sites network and at our Coventryhead office.We are currently recruiting for a Digital Solutions Architect to join our growing Business Systems department on a 1-year FTC basis.Reporting to the Head of Technology, the successful candidate will support the delivery and maintenance of digital solutions into the business.This is a varied role where you can expect to:

  • Be accountable for the ownership, maintenance and build of the digital technical and design artefacts to support and ensure continuous improvement of The Clubs digital proposition.
  • Work closely with relevant department managers and stakeholders to provide governance, guidance, planning and delivery of technical and design changes and enhancements to the clubs technical digital solutions; working in conjunction with our Technologyand Digital Marketing teams as well as Third Parties, to help define scope and enhance the online experience.
  • Research into new digital and development technologies and what they can do for the Club.
  • Review technical specifications and implemented solutions to ensure they adhere with The Clubs design and Technical standards advising the projects team as to their suitability to meet the required aims of the requirements.
  • Ensuring user interface / interface design / requirements, including general user experience (UX) are met across all digital channels in conjunction with the digital marketing team.
  • Provide consultancy in the start-up phase of projects to ensure high level solution assurance as well as providing high level design assurance throughout project delivery.
  • Provide consultancy for Procurement and Vendor/Supplier Management.
  • Provide technical digital guidance and support to the Infrastructure team.
  • Work with Third parties on the design of digital and technical applications. As part of this review and produce project and technical documentation to support the defined solutions.
We are looking for the following in applications:
  • Solid technical knowledge in digital or ecommerce platform implementations
  • Proven ability to troubleshoot issues using logs analysis, API’s and reviewing code
  • Development experience in Java, JavaScript, JSON, GraphQL, CSS or other front-end technologies
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and in written format
