My Client South Tyneside Council are currently recruiting for a Qualified Childrens Social worker to work with the Integrated Safeguarding and Intervention Team.The successful candidate is required to start immediately.The role will initially be until March 2021 with the likeliness to continue.ISIT, is their specialist multiagency team and assessment teams are looking for a social worker to join their stable workforce to create a positive change for children and young people.As the successful candidate you will undertake single assessments and child protection enquiries. Their Children Services are rated Good and are a Partner in Practice. They have remodelled their children’s home, developed an edge of care service, rated Outstanding, invested in their commitment to children and young people’s participation and invested in creating a forward thinking looked after service which places children and young people right at the centre of the services that support them.Having the right culture to practice is important to them and their children, so it is important for them that your values are centred around achieving the best outcomes possible.They have created a Covid-19 secure office base.
