Job Description

Job Title: Girls PE TeacherLocation: Leeds LS16Start Date: Feb 2024Contract: Full Time/2 TermsPay scale: 130-200 GBP per day.Are you a Girls PE Teacher looking for a new role to start as soon as possibleWe are working with a school in Leeds who are looking to appoint an enthusiastic and committed teacher of PE who would be happy to work on a full-time basis.You must have past experience of teaching Girls PE across KS3, 4 and ideally 5 and be able to deliver inspiring inclusive lessons across the Key Stages.Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement engaging physical education lesson plans specifically tailored for girls, focusing on their unique needs and abilities.
  • Teach a variety of sports and fitness activities, promoting skill development, teamwork, and healthy competition.
  • Provide a safe and inclusive learning environment, ensuring that all students are treated with respect and fairness.
  • Assess and evaluate students progress, providing constructive feedback and guidance to help them improve their physical abilities.
  • Plan and organize school sports events, intramural competitions, and inter-school tournaments for girls.
  • Promote the importance of physical fitness and healthy lifestyles through classroom discussions and extracurricular activities.
Requirements:
  • QTS Degree or Equivalent Degree
  • Is ambitious and enthusiastic to deliver their subject.
  • Must have prior teaching experience as a Girls PE Teacher across KS3 and KS4.
  • Has a presence and will support the students and provide them with the guidance that is required.
