Job Description

We are supporting a Harrogate based property management company in their search for a credit controller on a full-time permanent basis.You will be a standalone credit controller reporting into the finance manager and you will be responsible for proactively managing company debt.Our client operates a flexible working policy, you will be required 3 days per week in their Harrogate centre office with the freedom to work from home or office for the remaining 2 days.

Monitor bank accounts & allocate bank payments against resident debt
Manage debtors and pursue any outstanding payments in a timely manner via email, telephone and letter, following the internal Moda debt process
Negotiate and track resident payment plans
Prepare debtors reports for internal review and for external stakeholder use
Present arrears status to internal and external parties
Communicate with solicitors and external bodies to implement debt recovery process
Document and prepare supporting evidence for use in legal proceedings
Liaise with on site management to identify, allocate and resolve issues surrounding outstanding payments
Complete account reconciliations
Overseeing credit approval process prior to tenancy being agreed
Advise on terms and conditions of financial agreements
Month End reporting
