Job Description

A well-known, leading Chartered Accountancy firm islooking to recruit an Accounts Transaction Analystin Aberdeen, Edinburgh or Glasgow.This role is ideally suited for somebody with industry based Accounts Payable experience who is lookingto expand their experience in a well supported and friendly environment.The CompanyThis is an exciting time to join this accountancy firm as they are in a period of growth and are expanding allteams across their Aberdeen, Edinburgh, Glasgow and Belfast offices.Thiscompany employs around 250members of staff across several offices andhas a wide range of client portfolios.The RoleAs an Accounts Payable Analyst, you will be joining theVirtual Finance Function team and will be covering a wide range of accountancyservices. You will be given the opportunity to work on a range of clients offering you exposureto different businessesand sectors, with the primary focus being on accounts payable duties.You will be involved in but not restricted to the following duties:

Processing purchase invoices
Posting VAT
Process employee expense claims
Process payment runs
Maintain supplier master data
Supplier statement reconciliations
Bank reconciliations
Resolve supplier invoice queries
Manage client mailboxes
Other ad-hoc duties as required.

To be considered for this position you must have:

Previous experience in Accounts Payable and exposure of supporting multiple clients
VAT posting knowledge
Knowledge of Xero and MS Dynamics is desirable
Ability to work with different accounting systems and software
Excellent organisational skills
Strong communication skills – both written and oral
Attention to detail
Problem solving skills
Ability to work on own initiative and to tight deadlines
Self-motivated, with an ability to develop ideas into practice

On OfferThe role ofAccounts Payable Analystwill offer a salary of £23,000 - £28,000 plus benefits and excellent progression potential for the right candidate.
