One person in five in the UK is affected by lung disease. As the only UK charity for people affected by all respiratory diseases - from asthma through to COPD - the Asthma UK-British Lung Foundation Partnership is here for every one of them. We provide support, fund vital research, and campaign for better prevention, treatment and care.An opportunity has arisen to join our Research and Innovation Advocacy team, which aims radically increase investment into respiratory research and innovation.Reporting to the Head of Research and Innovation Advocacy, your role will be to drive forward distinct programmes of work to influence national and international funders.Youll have expertise at brokering new collaborations with innovators and researchers, and an ability to map and cultivate your own network of influence and intelligence.Crucially, you will be tasked with building (or bringing) partnerships with sectors that can advance the pace of respiratory research and innovation, such as data science, and support the development of strategies to deliver an increase in respiratory research and innovation.
