Job Description

Do you have proven experience working in an internal audit position and are you open to a fantastic opportunity working for an ambitious team that is offering a flexible working arrangement If yes, read on!Robertson Bell have partnered with a public sector organisation who are one of the biggest in their field to recruit an Internal Auditor on a permanent basis. Based in Central London, you will work closely with the Director of Internal Audit to uphold aquality internal audit service.The key responsibilities of the Internal Auditor position include:

  • Engaging with a wide range of stakeholders, based across a number of UK locations, to conduct a full audit of their business areas. This will encompass planning and drafting terms of reference, conducting field work and producing detailed reports that contributeto the governance and assurance framework.
  • Highlight key areas of risk and make reliable recommendations to senior management that ultimately allow the organisation to continue its exciting trajectory of growth in a responsible way.
  • Compile and draft governance policies for branch Treasurers and Secretaries, including full support and training where required.
  • Working in a small team, taking on various audit projects throughout the year and delivering to a high standard
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Internal Auditor looking to take the next step in their career. This role is offers hybrid working with employees required to travel to various locations.   • Be qualified in a UK recognised accountancy or audit board. Finalists may also be considered.
  • Have minimum two years’ experience within an internal/external audit position.
  • Possess an analytical way of thinking and be confident working on their own and as part of a team.
  • Have a high skill level using excel being able to manipulate data and produce reports for varying levels and audiences.
