Job Description

Technical environment: Java J2EE, Linux, Android / iOS, DevOps We are working with an exciting mobile app based trading platform who require a Senior Java Developer to lead the continued development of their front and back office applications. The Senior Java Developer will:

  • Have full support in the investigation and implementation of latest technologies and trends for use in the development of the companys home grown application
  • Ensuring their continued reputation of providing a best of class application to their consumer, corporate and financial institution client base
  • In addition to Java / J2EE development expertise, you will also assist in swift systems and network diagnostics in a DevOps manner on the Linux based infrastructure.
    • The ideal applicant for the role of Senior Java Developer / DevOps will have:
  • Strong Java experience - J2EE / J2SE Strong SQL database expeience Spring (core and MVC)
  • JDBC Multithreading Computing / Mathematics based Degree Linux / CentOS DevOps / CI-CD experience
  • Android / iOS Oracle PL/SQL Network monitoring Market Data Connectivity
    • Our client are a successful and growing online brokerage, who offer trding capabiliuty to a varied clent base accross stocks, bonds, futures, options, forex and derivatives products. A background or keen interest in financial markets would be a distinct advantage as would any experience in development of applications utilising market data feeds.
