Are you a Project Director working in the Railway sector Do you have experience working on heavy rail civils projects Do you have experience working on London underground projectsMy client is a market leading multi-disciplinary contractor with a huge presence across a variety of sectors. Due to a continued growth within London, they have a need to bring on board an experienced Project Director with a proven track record of delivering heavy civils projects.This opportunity will involve leading a multitude of schemes including network rail and London underground projects. As part of your role, you will be responsible for developing and managing client/stakeholder relationships whilst ensuring delivery of projects on time and on budget.Ideal candidates will have experience and knowledge of successfully delivering projects at a value of £50 million + and working on both network rail and London underground infrastructure projects. You will need to be located within a commutable distance of central London as the role is both office and site based.Salary: £110,000-£130,000 DOE Start Date: Immediate Location: LondonKey requirements: ·PTS and/or LUL Lucas Card ·SMSTS ·CRE ·10+ years experience managing major civils projectsDay to Day Duties: ·Responsible for all safety, health, environment, and quality matters including driving excellence and championing continuous improvement ·Advise the project management team on project planning activities and initiatives and present recommendations and project delivery status updates to key customers and stakeholders ·Develop and manage key customer relationships, through regular reviews of contract performance with customers, understanding and managing needs and gaps ·Manage the appropriate costs within the contracts, ensuring maximum utilisation of resources ·Review and approve project management plans, health and safety plans, environmental work package plans (WPPs), and safe method of work plans (SMOWS) ·Support bid development as required including planning bid strategy, resourcing optimal skills sets, overseeing solution development and planning, leading negotiations, and tendersIf interested please either give me a call to discuss in more detail or send in your CV to or call on
