Were recruiting for one of the fastest growing Energy Investment and Infrastructure Tech companies in the UK, so a great opportunity to join a great team, in a role right at the coal-face.This is a 12-month fixed-term contract with full bonus and bens.Reporting in to the Finance Controller, with regular interaction with the CFO and COO you will be responsible for all financial aspects of various projects and lots of ad-hoc analysis on a daily basis.Key responsibilities will include:- Providing finance support to Project Managers- Check and challenge the accuracy of costs and revenues- Check deferred revenue calculations vs cost incurred / certified revenue- Working with Project Managers on project profitability- Reconcile revenue / deferred revenue / cost accruals / margins to profitability schedule- Producing profitability schedule at month end- Provide project accounting and finance support to other UK entities- Produce monthly reports / packs and Executive summary- Working with the Commercial Team to review and develop processes- Lead forecast / Budgeting processes and monthly variance analysis vs Budget / forecast- Group reporting on monthly / forecast / budget- Ad hoc commercial analysis on a daily basisKey skills needed:- Fully qualified CIMA / ACCA / ACA- Candidates must have experience in Project Accounting- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills- Strong team working skills, good eye for detail, accurate, ability to solve problems- Able to take own initiative, be confident, able to prioritise- Good communicatordirect and clearThis is a great, commercial role in a very fast-paced environment in a sector that is exciting and only going in one direction!If this sounds interesting to you, please do get in touch.
